What this actually is

A hand-knotted wool rug is not a carpet with edges. It needs pH-correct chemistry, gentle agitation, controlled drying and someone who knows what happens when a red dye lets go.

Depending on the rug we clean in-home or take it to the shop. Either way you get dye testing, fringe detailing and full deodorizing.

How we run the job

Inspect
Fiber, construction, previous repairs and existing damage documented with you.

Dust
Dry soil comes out first — a wool rug can hold pounds of it in the foundation.

Wash
Gentle immersion or low-moisture, chosen by construction and dye behavior.

Dry flat and groom
Supported drying so the rug doesn't distort, then pile groomed and fringe combed.
