“Look no further — this is the restoration and cleaning company you want to hire. The owner, Martin, and his partner did an extraordinary job restoring the finish to the tile in the kitchen and first floor. We were afraid we would need to replace the tile. But Martin's company restored it in a way that looks brand new — for a very reasonable cost!”
A rust ring, twenty years of traffic lanes, melted wax, pet damage, dissolved tile sealant — customers call us after other companies told them the floor was finished. Usually it isn't. We save floors, and we save you the price of replacement.
Call or send the form. James answers the phone himself, asks about your floors, and gives you a firm price — usually within hours.

Case file 01Baltimore County· Wool carpet restoration
The dining room they had already priced out for replacement
Decades of holiday dinners had left this cream wool carpet covered in overlapping rings — spilled drinks, dropped gravy, a few pet accidents that had wicked back up through the pile every time it dried. Two other companies had cleaned it. Both times the spots came back within a week.
James pre-tested the fibers, treated each ring individually with the right chemistry instead of blanketing the room in one product, then rinsed the whole floor with truck-mount hot water extraction so nothing was left behind to attract dirt. Groomed, speed-dried, furniture set back on blocks.
They had a flooring estimate on the kitchen counter. It went in the trash the same afternoon.

A shower the homeowner was embarrassed to show us
Years of hard water, soap film and mildew had turned white grout the color of weak coffee and stained the pan a deep amber. The homeowner assumed it needed to be gutted and re-tiled — a five-figure bathroom project.
Instead we ran a controlled acid-and-alkaline sequence, agitated every joint by hand, pressure-rinsed with contained extraction, then sealed the grout so it holds the color. Total time on site: one afternoon.
Same tile. Same grout. Just twenty years of buildup that finally had somewhere to go.

The red spill everyone says is permanent
A juice cup went over next to the playroom slide and left a dye stain the size of a dinner plate. Red dye bonds to nylon fiber — this is the exact stain big-box cleaners tell people to live with or patch out.
It isn't permanent, it just needs heat, the right reducing agent and patience. We worked the area with a heated spotting unit, lifted the dye in stages, flushed the residue and re-groomed the pile so the texture matches the rest of the floor.
No patch. No donor carpet. The dye simply left.

Case file 04Parkville, Baltimore County· Rust removal & fiber rinse
A rust ring the size of a dinner plate, on brand-new bedroom carpet
A metal plant stand sat on damp carpet for one weekend. That's all it takes — iron oxide migrates straight into nylon and leaves an orange ring with a spatter trail running out across the floor. The homeowner had scrubbed at it with a store-bought spotter, which spread the rust into a wider halo and browned the pile around it.
Rust doesn't respond to normal cleaning chemistry. James used an acidic rust remover applied in controlled passes, neutralized between each one so the fiber never got cooked, then pulled the residue out with a hot rinse. The browning around the edge came out with a separate reducing agent.
Three passes over about ninety minutes. The last photo is the same square foot of carpet, groomed and dry.
It was never a stain problem. It was a chemistry problem — and the wrong bottle almost made it permanent.
Most cleaning companies quit at cleaning. Seam repair, power stretching, patching and color work are separate trades — and they're the difference between a two-hundred-dollar afternoon and a four-figure re-carpet. These are unedited clips from real Baltimore-area jobs.

The crew
Five people. You'll know their names.
No rotating subcontractors and no call center. The same small crew shows up, texts before arrival, and gets thanked by name in our reviews.
“Ask for whoever cleaned last time. We'll send them.”
A firm written number in your hand first. No upsell on the truck, no 'while we're here' surprises.

We tell you when not to hire us
If a floor genuinely can't be saved, James says so and points you to the cheaper answer. It costs us jobs and earns us neighbors.
03
We move the furniture back
Beds, sofas, dining sets — back on protective tabs, exactly where they started, before we leave.
04
If it re-appears, we come back
Some spots wick back up as the fiber dries. One call and we return to re-treat it. No second invoice.
Meet the owner
“My company is called Martin Restores It because customers kept saying I restored their home.”
James Martin spent two decades mastering commercial and residential cleaning before starting his own company. He built it on three promises: show up on time, use the right technique, and charge a fair rate. Today James, Terelle, El, Tyrell and Jovan run the trucks — and James still gives the quotes himself.
Equipment, finished rooms, the van, the owner with a wand in his hand. Click any tile and James explains what you're looking at and why it matters to your floor.
